Silom road is considered the center of business in not only Bangkok, but the whole country. People called Silom "Bangkok's Wallstreet" since there are the place that gathered with head quarters of the biggest banks in Thailand. Silom has the famous shopping street for office workers "Soi Lalay Sup", where office workers crowd gather here and spent hight amount during just 1 hour office lunch break window. You can access Silom road easily by BTS skytrain from Rama4 road. The crowdest station at Silom is Saladaeng Station which is the first station in Silom area. The next one is Chong Nonsi Station which is a little bit closer to Sathorn road.
